SH-11 bridge rehabilitation project in Tulsa; lanes, ramps narrowed
As part of a SH-11 bridge rehabilitation project in Tulsa scheduled for overall completion in late 2020, delays can be expected as lanes are narrowed during constructions. Drivers should plan ahead for extra travel time, especially those heading to the Tulsa International Airport complex.
Drivers should expect congestion along the Arrivals Roadway, especially in front of the baggage claim area for American and Delta. Airport law enforcement officers ask that drivers use caution when picking up passengers as elevated pedestrian traffic may cause minor delays. Only vehicles actively loading passengers will be allowed to stop at the curb. Drivers are encouraged to use the cell phone parking lot located east of the Hilton Garden Inn hotel until their arriving passengers collect their luggage and indicate they are ready at the curb. The cell phone lot provides over 60 spaces of free parking.
Drivers wanting to park and enter the terminal can now access short-term parking from the Arrivals Roadway, with a ramp entrance to the third level located in front of Southwest baggage claim. Drivers can also access short-term parking from the main garage entrance by following the signs to the third level. Designated short-term spaces are available on the front row of Level 3.
