The Corporal Jared M. Shoemaker Military and Veteran’s Resource Lounge is a private room for service men and women and their families flying to or from Tulsa to visit and relax before or after their flight. The lounge has a telephone, television, and computers with Internet access for our travelling military guests to use. The lounge is also stocked with informational materials that highlight support programs offered to service members and their families in our community. The lounge is located on Concourse A next to Gate A1.
Family members of active duty military personnel can request a pass to go post-security, to either meet or see off their loved one, from the airline the person is traveling. It is the airline’s discretion whether or not they issue a pass.
All of Tulsa International Airport’s shops offer military personnel a 10% discount on purchases. Military personnel can also receive a 15% discount at all of the restaurants in the terminal and free coffee at Java Dave’s. A military ID will need to be shown to receive any discount.
Airport personnel would like to express their gratitude to the men and women serving in our military with a message over the terminal public address system welcoming them home. If you know of any active service person who will be flying into Tulsa, please call 918-838-5046 and request a hero announcement.
