TUL Welcomes New Concession Operators to Concourse A
TULSA, OK – August 30, 2017 – Tulsa International Airport celebrated the grand opening of new restaurants and shops located on Concourse A this afternoon with a ribbon cutting event and open house for guests to explore the new offerings.
New retail locations now open on Concourse A are operated by Hudson Group and include several of their proprietary brands, such as:
- Hudson: Their signature store which offers travel essentials and convenience items.
- 5th and Sunset: A sunglass and accessory shopping experience in a contemporary environment that includes high-quality, recognized brands from top designers.
- Spirit: Similar to Hudson Group’s Spirit of the Red Horse brand, Spirit is a premier Native American and Western specialty store that offers jewelry, apparel, hats, belts, bags and accessories, as well as Native American and Western themed giftware and home décor
A new dining location now open on Concourse A operated by Creative Food Group is:
- Dead Armadillo Tarmac Taproom: Dead Armadillo Brewing Company’s Amber American Ale is one of the Top 10 Best Craft Beers in Oklahoma. The Taproom will offer a full liquor bar and a full menu of Tulsa’s favorites. While the restaurant will proudly serve seven varieties of Dead Armadillo craft beers, they will also offer many local, national and international premium beers. This is the first restaurant location in Tulsa for the Dead Armadillo brand.
A new dining location now open on Concourse A operated by Local Food Concepts is:
- Einstein Bros. Bagels & Caribou Coffee: Einstein Bros. Bagels is a neighborhood bagelry that’s always cooking up a new way to bagel. Caribou Coffee provides high quality, handcrafted beverages. It was also the first major U.S. coffeehouse to serve 100% Rainforest Alliance Certified coffees and espressos. TUL is the first airport to offer a combined bagel and coffee location.
Construction began after the new operators moved in on May 1. The airport’s food, beverage and retail concession program will undergo a complete transformation by the time construction is complete in 2018. Together, the concessionaires have invested over $1.7 million in preparing these five locations for this opening.

Construction of the pre-security locations is expected to begin in late Spring 2018. When complete, the airport will have 10 retail outlets and 10 dining options.
